Nice Gloves
These are nice gloves. Warm, Packable, easy to put on and take off. I got the small, and they are quite large for my admittedly very small hands (size 6-6.5).

Not really that warm below 20
I bought these in an Ll Bean store with no research. Mistake. These gloves are fine in 30 and 40 degree weather. Thats not why i bought them, although when you read “Why we love them” you get the idea they are “exceptionally warm” which they are not.and theyre not waterproof. I really feel ripped off with this purchase, and that never happens with LL Bean. They were expensive for what they are. My $30 alpaca gloves are far better than these, and they usually are not good in the weather below 20.

Good gloves, snug opening
These gloves have changed since my last pair that I've had for a few years. I had a hard time getting my hand in and had to use the string to pull them on. Once they were on they fit perfectly. But I do prefer the older style that were easier to get on. They are a nice lightweight glove, I am hopeful they will last as long as my previous ones.

Very tight wrist, but good gloves once on.
Warm, water resistant, good grip & definitely packable - if you can get past that very tight wrist. I purchased the small, my standard glove size. I am keeping them with the hope that the wrist will stretch out a bit.

Not up to the quality of my previous pair
I bought the same gloves in 2020, and need to replace them this year. (Their stitching and the plastic re-enforcement on the fingers is giving way.) However, the current model won't do. The primaloft is flimsier; the palm and finger re-enforcement is a thin version of the dots on footed pjs; the elastic in the wrist is (barely) enough to get one's hand in.
I fail to understand how the price could have increased by 20% in five years, when the quality has decreased. For the sake of your brand, you really need to do something. I am returning the pair I bought.

Careful what you wish for
Snug fitting which is nice, but not warm or water resistant. Not worth the price. Big disappointment.
