We've improved our most popular extra-large rolling duffle, loved since 1996 for its durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a new U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access and an innovative folding design.
Introducing our best-ever Rolling Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening and a new folding design we created by customer request, making it easier to stow away when you're not using it. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 135L bag uses 52 plastic bottles.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Spot clean.
- Roomy main compartment.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points and one rigid handle that helps stabilize bag.
- New U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.

Oversized according to United Air
Just bought the XXL to use on a kayaking- camping trip that involved a flight on United Airlines. All airlines have different regs. For United, the Length+Height+Width can be no more than 62 inches. For the XXL rolling duffle it is 63.75 inches which qualifies for "oversized" luggage charges. The check in person caught the 1.75 inch difference & let it go this time. Also there is a 50 pound weight limit, so even though the duffle holds alot of gear, watch the weight! I was 2 pounds away from being charged for an "overweight" bag. So oversized and overweight....possibilities! I love the bag though. I have had the large rolling duffle for 10 years, but always needed a suitcase to go with it. The XXL held everything except my paddle. So it's a toss up: pay for 2 bags or 1 oversized bag? I think the LLBean write up should mention the possibility of charges for an oversized bag.

Took this to camp…
This bag took the place of the standard camp trunk for my granddaughter. Nice sturdy wheels that a 12 year old could handle. Easy check in at the airport, well made and sturdy. Choice of colors was nice..

Bring back the older style
First let me say I have several generations of the large size duffle. This has been our family luggage and everyone had a different color-great at the carousel. When you put wheels on the old style -great. When you reconfigured it to stand-perfect! Packing in the new square open top is less efficient and the wheels run strangely. Please give us back the old option,

Best Duffel I’ve Owned
I’ve been in the Army for 21 years, and owned a lot of duffel bags. This is by far the best and most spacious one I’ve owned. I really can’t wait to use it for training exercises because it’ll fit my uniforms, pro gear, clothes, hygiene kit, and much more!

No longer having a hard sided bottom compartment I
I’ve owned 2 of LLB’s large rolling duffle bags with the hard-sided separate bottom compartment. The best bags I ever owned. I can even put bread and cookies & glass & other items that would be smashed in any other luggage. It’s great! I have one here today on an Alaska trip and 2 people were so impressed they wanted to buy one. NO LONGER WITH LLB! So competitors get their business. I read on Google search that manufacturing costs go down w/o it yet cost is still similar and same as many competitors bags that do have the drop bottom compartment. Disappointing, as LLB bags are great quality.
