house slippers
ordered 2 pairs; first pair was sewn crooked on right shoe but wearable; second pair (on backorder due to color) was 2 different sizes of shoe - very obvious and could not wear. sent back for refund. really wanted the second pair color - very disappointed in quality of LL Bean after many years of great products.

breaking up with my less-than-perfect slippers
sad to say this, but as comfy and warm as these are, I will not be purchasing them again. I have had several over the years, but Im finally done being disappointed by how fast they stretch out. Even though I just bought these in September, they are already too big to safely wear. and no, i do not wear socks in them. also, the ties wont stay tied and I always have to rig something up to keep them tied. Im done, but Im also very sad.

Is a Bean-Slipper mobile in Order?
The bean boots are iconic, SO ARE THESE. A decades long favorite in my home, every family member has gone through many pairs. The comfort and quality are unmatched. I've tried other brands, all of which ended up being donated or re-gifted promptly. (My least favorite rhymes with BUGG, absolute garbage.) Only wicked goodness will do for running out to the mailbox on 15-degree mornings.
Only notes: I wish the wide sizes came in fun colors!

The slippers are very plush and comfortable with warm fur lining. I sized up but the slippers are a little too roomy. I wear them with thick socks.

I have been wearing the moccasins for many years. It was time for a new pair. Yesterday I received my order. I just can't get past the heel area slips everytime I walk. It's not as deep as my previous pair. I will be sending them back. I need my feet to feel snug in the slipper not lifting off my foot everytime I walk. The length is fine so I know that a smaller size isn't the answer. Very disappointed
