Product Details
Our premium ultrasoft cotton flannel robe, in just the right weight to stay warm and cozy without overheating.
An L.L.Bean exclusive, our plush flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.
- Brushed on both sides for superior softness and warmth.
- Made of 100% high-quality Portuguese cotton flannel, an L.L.Bean exclusive.
- Authentic yarn-dyed tartans stay vibrant and colorful.
- Machine wash and dry.
- One chest pocket and two front pockets.

Disappointing lack of quality and overpriced
I bought this a month ago without doing much shopping for alternative options. Usually if I see it’s LL Bean I assume it’s high quality. For a $90 robe this is extremely poor value. I expected something thick and sturdy feeling that would last years, but most of my flannel shirts are thicker than this. It has the same weight as a t shirt. Photo comparison to a dime for scale. And there are also only two belt loops for whatever reason, so the tie always falls out. This feels like something I’d buy elsewhere for $30, not something a premium brand would sell for $90. I encourage shoppers to read the reviews here as many people say the same thing.

Super comfortable
I bought the robe for myself and it’s really perfect for fall and winter. Super soft, perfect size (medium, I weigh 185 lbs and usually wear size 34 waist), and the colors are bright without being too much.

Cheap and thin
I bought this robe to replace my old LL
Bean robe that is about 7 years old.
I thought it was the same robe, but it isn’t.
The fabric is about 25% as thick as the old robe.
I have thicker t-shirts.
LL Bean quality is no more.
I will be returning the robe, and not purchasing any more from LL Bean.
No quality, no purchase.
