Ideal lightweight vest
I like the pathfinder vest a lot. It is lightweight but provides an extra level of warmth inside. Also, it is a good length- not as long as some of the other vests. Washes well and adds a pop of color to neutrals.

Nice Fabric but not Bean's Standard Fit
I was really surprised at how large a "Small" was! It is long and a bit bulky and the collar is huge, difficult to wear it as a stand up, but pretty big folded down as well. I kept it because I ripped the tags off right away, excited with the fabric. I'll wear it around the house but not "out".
That's the only problem with Online shopping... How to predict the fit!

This is an XS? Slightly fitted? No way. Yes, I bought on sale for an incredibly cheap price…but I thought I could count on the usual consistency of LL Bean sizes. I’m swimming in it. 5’5, 115 lbs. Now I can’t rely on ordering online…Take care, LL Bean. Watch your step more carefully.

LOVE this vest!
There is nothing bad to say about this vest. It's nice and long, so I don't have to worry about bending down and showing more of myself than anyone needs to see. The collar is nice and high, when zipped up all the way. It keeps the wind off your neck, making a scarf unnecessary. The zipper pockets are great as well. Love this vest! ... and the color? I mean how can you go wrong with purple? :)
