Wanted to love, but fit too short, too relaxed
I like these cords and am happy that LL Bean is offering a high-rise wide-leg version, beyond those two features, I do wish the style had a less relaxed hip and waist area and a longer petite inseam. I first ordered in my usual petite size (I'm 5'3"), but they were too short. I exchanged for a regular size, and I'm finding they're too baggy in the waist and hips. I can't wear these pants without a belt. But I do like them enough to wear them anyway despite not having the willpower to try another size exchange.

Great pants
I got these pants in a size 8 Petite since I am 5’2” tall and weigh 123 pounds. The pants are not long enough for me since I like pants to touch my shoes. The size 8 was too large so I returned them for a size 6 regular length. The size 8 was very baggy in the upper thigh area and I am hoping that the size 6 is more tailored. So if you are in the Petite range for height and like your pants to reach your shoes and not your ankles, I would get the regular length. The quality is excellent, it these pants run on the large side.

Love these Cords
The fabric is soft, the black is rich, the fit is great. I did not have to hem them. I am 5'6" and many of the pants sold now are a bit too long so I have to hem them.

Stylish Burgundy Cords
These great cords offer both style and comfort with an elastic waistband. I like the burgundy as one cold weather color brighter than the usual navy, black, and brown, and this fabric is gentle in my sensitive skin.

Room to Roam
These pants were a medium weight corduroy with a touch of stretch that assisted in comfort. The fit on my body was perfect. I am waisted with a slight belly, definite hips but not too heavy. The pants do have flared legs. I will be able to wear underlings on very cold days, like -30. Today was 40 above; I was comfortable. Cozy fabric for mild winter wear, dog walking. Not too good for cycling due to flared leg styling.

Too short for someone 5’11
I ordered the medium tall and I absolutely love the two colors I chose. And I think the material was not too thick or thin for a corduroy. My only complaint which is kind of a big one I’m 511 and these were way too short and I ordered the medium tall. I don’t quite get the medium tall it said 30 inches from the inseam. I feel like it should just be petite, medium, or tall. If they’re too long, I could easily have them hemmed up at the alteration shop.

I love these pants
This is the wide wale corduroy I've been looking for. It is soft, the fit is great--hugs the waist and gives you room in hips and legs, and they don't lose shape after a long day. They wash well, and do not shrink significantly. Be aware, though, that this is not a heavy, dead-of-winter-when-you-should-wear-wool pant. It is lighter weight, and perfect for fall and spring.
