Disappointed
Very disappointed with my flannel shirt. To begin with, I am 5’1” and weigh 120 lbs. Depending on the type of fabric, I will order a small or medium. Because I thought the shirt may shrink a little, I ordered the Petite Medium. When I received my order, I tried the shirt on and before it was washed, the sleeves were barely long enough and the length of the shirt was shorter than I prefer. Unfortunately, the shirt did, in fact, shrink a little and ended up having sleeves too short and the length was too short. I will be returning it.

So Cozy and Comfortable!
This is a great shirt. It has a good weight to it, comfortable for mild weather and cozy when the chill is in the air. I've used it as a lightweight cover over shirts. I was a little concerned about shrinkage but I washed it in cold water and dried it at a low temp. It turned out fine. Get it - you won't be disappointed!

Feels VERY old
The fabric is extremely soft and has slubs as if I’ve been wearing it for 20 years. . The collar is wrinkly unless it’s ironed. I was expecting a more refined flannel I guess. I’m keeping it because, as I said, it’s VERY soft.

“Only one problem”
There was just one problem with this 1912 Field Flannel: the LLBean skin irritating tag and loop above the tag at the inside neck of the shirt. I had to spend 2 hours carefully removing it so the shirt was actually wearable. Though this product is supposed to be 100% cotton, it seems the thread used to secure these labels was synthetic and the ends sharp causing redness and irritation. As much as I love this shirt I would not purchase another or recommend it until this problem is fixed.

Looks old fast
I bought this shirt in the Faded Mahogany on sale. It's soft, comfortable but after one wash it shrinks a bit and pills a lot. It's fine for hanging around the house or doing yard work but I wouldn't wear it out. It will probably be a shirt I have for one year only. It looks like I've had it a long time. I'll stick with LLBean's traditional flannel.
