We took our softest, bestselling fleece and added a hood and extra length for exceptionally warm, exceptionally cozy comfort and great coverage.
When our designers saw a photo of a USA team member wearing an L.L.Bean fleece on the historic 1990 Mount Everest International Peace Climb, they had to recreate it. Still our softest jacket ever, we've created many versions that all maintain the key features: just-right breathability, warmth and an adventurous spirit.
- In an ultraplush blend of 60% recycled polyester and 40% polyester.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Elastic binding on hood, cuffs and hem.
- Hooded for extra warmth and weather protection.

Warm and Cozy, Material Not Holding Up
This jacket is well styled and fits great. It is warm and cozy, and a great go-to on a chilly day. it also styles well with a lot of things. However, after a few months of wear, I feel the material is sub-par and starting to look worn in some places.

Wanted to Love but couldn't
I really wanted to love this hooded fleece BUT the pockets are in such a weird place. They are situated more to the back than a normal place if you wanted to put your hands in it.
