Product Details
We took our softest, bestselling fleece and added a hood and extra length for exceptionally warm, exceptionally cozy comfort and great coverage.
When our designers saw a photo of a USA team member wearing an L.L.Bean fleece on the historic 1990 Mount Everest International Peace Climb, they had to recreate it. Still our softest jacket ever, we've created many versions that all maintain the key features: just-right breathability, warmth and an adventurous spirit.
- In an ultraplush blend of 60% recycled polyester and 40% polyester.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Elastic binding on hood, cuffs and hem.
- Two handwarmer pockets.
- Hooded for extra warmth and weather protection.
- Droptail hem is slightly longer in back for added coverage and warmth.

Cozy jacket
Terrific jacket, nice and warm. Only fault: pockets are on side seams and it’s hard to get my hands inside them.

Wanted to Love but couldn't
I really wanted to love this hooded fleece BUT the pockets are in such a weird place. They are situated more to the back than a normal place if you wanted to put your hands in it.

Warm, Soft, Looks Great
First, this jacket is something my teenagers said they'd wear, so that told me the style doesn't look "old". ha ha. The hood is a perfect touch. Some reviewers do not like the on-seam pockets, but I disagree and here's why: the pockets are deep enough that my things to not fall out while I am hiking or doing basic errands. Some other pockets allow my cell phone to slip out. Pockets further forward would be better for hand placement, yes, but the pockets would not be as deep. For me, I need my things to be safe inside. I like the shape of the jacket. It looks better in person than the way the model is styling it online. It's roomy and snuggly-feeling. It's warm, and the gingerbread color I ordered is perfect for fall (but I'll wear it in winter too). It's going to make a great house jacket and also great to wear out. The length in the back is perfect for sitting on a cold log or picnic table. The split along the side makes the jacket move easily. I recommend though I feel many jackets are getting very pricey, and this one is included in the too-pricey-at-full-price category.

Weird Sizing
Got this coat some time ago, but the need to comment took over.
The dark orange was much darker than the picture. I had a size x-large, my normal size, but would have fit into a medium it was that big. In other words size down TWO sizes and then you will be fine...otherwise forget it. This is coming from a curvy girl....

Pockets need adjusting!
Soft, snuggly- my Bear coat! Pockets are too far back and too high for me, my only constructive criticism. Love it!

Great, except for pocket placement
I love the material and the cut, but the pockets are so difficult to use. They are in the wrong place, IMO.

I hate the pockets
This is such a cozy fleece jacket, but it needs better pockets. The holes for the pockets are so small my hands have to be forced through them, but that’s if I can even find the holes that are way back on my flanks. Literally, the pocket holes are next to my kidneys. I hate them. I am going to give this jacket away to the next person who says they wish they had my jacket.
