Handle with Appropriate Care
This is the second of these that I’ve bought and I love them both. These blankets are silky soft. But follow the care instructions—wash on the delicate cycle, dry with no heat. My failure to pay attention to that resulted in the first blanket losing its impressive feel after too few washings.

Taupe throw
Thick, warm and luxurious to the touch. Several different laundry instructions made that confusing. Washed in cold water and dried delicate. I don’t have an air dry setting.

No Pilling! :)
Over the years I have purchased several LLBean fleece throws until about 2 years ago when I had one that pilled like crazy, it was so bad I threw it out. The premium throw really appealed to me so I decided to give LLBean another chance and bought the Taupe throw. I immediately washed it and tossed it into the dryer. No pilling at all! I decided to buy the other two colors and they did not pill either. Note that the label says dry on low heat, I dried on medium heat which is higher than recommended - I wanted to see how tough they are. I washed all of them by themselves. I think the folks that are reporting pilling must be drying on really high heat, if your dryer is clogged or the heat settings don't work correctly it will get very hot... These throws are very plush and somewhat weighty which I love, very happy with my purchase.

Wicked plush premium throw
Blanket did not hold up, after one wash it is pilling up and falling apart, the border is detaching as well. I do not recommend.

Amazingly soft and luxurious; it's a wow!
I love the super soft feel of this throw; it's amazing. It looks great and feels great. I had it monogrammed and the pile is so high that the letters get lost a bit. Next time I'll use all capital letters and maybe the letters will show better. And I wish there were other sizes.
