Warm jacket but don't buy the green version
The matte finish of the jacket looks good but it absorbs stains, especially the lighter green version. I've word it twice and I already have two stains I can't get out. Should have purchased it in black or navy.

Good jacket but good is way too big
excellent quality overall. Great warmth, love the extra pockets. Only one problem with this jacket. The problem is that the hood is way waaaaayyyy too big. You could fit a basketball inside the hood. I think they designed it that way so that you could fit a rock climbing helmet underneath but even if I was wearing a helmet, it would still be too big. I cinched the chords down to tighten it up but that changes the shape of the hood to where I don’t love it. I’m keeping the jacket and if they update it with a better hood in the future I’ll upgrade at that time

Top tier attention to design detail
I needed a parka for skiing and winter camping good to below zero F. with several features for skiing and extended time outdoors. This parka meets my feature list and exceeds it. The designer obviously knows the features necessary for a high functioning mountain parka.
Ex-> 1. Two way front zipper. 2. Helmet compatible hood. 3. Pit zips. 4. Large Interior mesh pocket for drying gloves, masks, etc. 5. Fully adjustable hood. 6. NO sewn-thru seams to hold the down in place (this makes the parka warmer by a lot). 7. Dual pulls for bottom hem cinch cord, etc., etc.
At first the price seems a bit steep - until you see the excellent design and high build quality, including the recycled fabric materials.
Do not hesitate to buy this parka if you prize great design features.
