Nice for cross body only
It's a nice bag and well made. But I wish the straps were more adjustable. It has to be worn as a cross body and there is no convenient way to shorten the strap enough to wear over one shoulder. I am exploring options / replacement straps.

Light and spacious
Perfect size, light weight .
After rotator cuff surgery, all my purses weighted too much to use. I tried fanny packs and smaller purses, but missed my purse’s capacity. This was a great pick.

Really useful bag
I bought this as a lightweight, sturdy everyday bag. It's pleased me in every way! The shoulder strap is wide enough to stay comfortable and adjustable enough to go from shoulder to crossbody (I'm 5'11"). There's plenty of room in the center for my wallet, brush, garage door opener and a paperback book. Other reviews mentioned trouble with the zippers or the outer zipped pocket gaping; LL Bean must have fixed that because my bag zips easily and the outer pocket lies flat. So happy with it.

Nice Upgrade to the Older Version
This is my 3rd purchase of this bag. The new version is much better than the old ones. I loved those other bags except for the outside pocket because it didn't zip. When the bag would fall over, most of the contents in the outside pocket would fall out. This newer one has an outside pocket that zips up & the zipper is covered. The inside zipped pocket is wider than the older version, allowing me to place more items inside. There's a clip to keep my spare keys safe, too. I like the new strap. It's very comfortable as a cross body on my shoulder. I got the iron color. It's a beautiful dark grey. With Bean Bucks, it was a reasonably priced bag. Like my previous bags, I plan to use it for years to come.

Be careful with the dimensions
The dimensions given should make clear that the bag dimensions vary from bottom to top. It's overall shape is much more that of a woman's handbag than a crossbody messenger bag. Not at all what I wanted.

Nice bag
Bought the bag in May 2025. Initially the canvas was stiff but softened up in no time. Length of strap is just right. The only issue is the flap over the front zipper; continually curling up. Other than that, the bag is perfect for my needs.

Firm material
Very stiff and firm material. A bit on the heavy side. There is no zipper compartment on the inside. Inside is very roomy. It should hold up to years of use. Though I’m not sure I would purchase it again.
