Honestly I have not used this cooler for the reason why I bought it, to have picnic cooler. I brought it to a campground and used it to transport a half gallon of ice cream, some paper plates and utensils and it worked great! At first I thought it was too big (larger than the little plastic cooler I have used for many years), BUT I would rather have a little more space than not enough. Before I bought it, I had the tape measure out trying to visualize the size. Now I can pack some extra beverages, along with sandwiches, snacks and room for cooler packs. It is lightweight, seems durable and has nice straps.

Nice Size and Quality
Great size and excellent quality. I have purchased sooo many LLBean coolers over the years for myself and others. Then the "others" purchase them for gifts for still others. I love the colors and shape of this one and appreciate the continued quality. I once traveled 16 hrs. straight through warm territory, and the cooler still kept the ice and groceries very well.
