Anticipating joy
To tell the truth, I haven’t worn my jacket since I live in a cold part of the country. But, I sure enjoy looking at it and anticipating putting it on in spring (should that ever arrive). As soon as this denim jacket was offered, it appealed to me. It has a retro, feminine vibe and should be appropriate for any number of occasions. Hopefully, this includes my son’s wedding on a ranch in Montana in June!

Read the reviews---it does runs BIG.. I'm 5'8", 150 lbs usually at least a large, ordered a medium-fits fine, still room enough to wear baulky sweater underneath.

The Perfect Layer
I had purchased this chore jacket in corduroy and couldn't wait to get it in denim. The denim is slightly more casual and the perfect layer for early morning walks and then errands around town as the weather becomes cooler and the wind a little stronger. I especially enjoy the large pockets and the softer look of the rounded collar. It is another winner in my opinion.

Love this Shirt/Jacket
I bought this as soon as I saw it pop up in an LLB ad. The style is really cute especially the Peter Pan collar, and the front pockets are so easy to use. Side pockets are sometimes awkward for me because I am so short (4' 8"). The denim is incredibly soft with a "prewashed" look and feel. I rolled up the sleeves at the cuffs and like the length. I've worn it outside on a cold day with a sweater under it, staying comfy. I purchased a size small because of the reviews instead of my usual medium for roominess. Agree with reviewers asking of Petite sizing. The Signature offerings are nice. It does with metal buttons but I prefer regular buttons. I love the comfort, ease of putting on/off, and the retro style. I recommend it!

Favorite Jacket Redux
I still own the original jacket in red denim. I purchased the Gardiner Jacket in red denim in the early 1980’s. It is incredibly well made, and so is the one I just bought.

I wish this came in a petit size. I usually wear a x- large, but in talking with Jay(who was super) decided on large. Fit was great except sleeves were too long. Sent back. I was very disappointed. I love denim and most of my clothes are yours thru thr years.
