Product Details
The Maine-made, weather-ready insulated Bean Boot customers love, now even more comfortable and durable.
In 1912, when 90 of his first 100 pairs of boots sold were returned, our founder, L.L., sent out refunds and fixed the problem. We've followed in his footsteps, listening to customers and making improvements while staying true to everything that makes Bean Boots legendary. Best of all, they're still sewn right here in Maine - one pair at a time - by expert craftspeople. Whoever says, "they don't build things like they used to," doesn't own a pair of these.
- Updated high-quality supple leather upper gets even better with time.
- Iconic chain-tread outsole is now made from an even longer-lasting rubber.
- Uniquely shaped foot form offers comfort and stability, and a steel shank adds support.
- Lace-up design with six sets of brass eyelets per boot for a secure fit.
- Upgraded dual-density insole offers enhanced comfort and cushion all-day long.
- Innovative triple-needle stitching provides long-lasting durability.
- Waterproof rubber boot bottom keeps feet dry.
- Rubber bottom lined with 200 grams of insulation for extra-cozy warmth.
- Best for rain, mud and other wet conditions.
- Waterproof to just below the stitching on the rubber shell.

Good looking boot and perfect for hunting!
Gift for hubby. Still debating if he likes. He’s use to a different type of boot.

Sizing misfortune
The sizing guidelines recommended going down 1/2-size: I normally wear an 11 and so ordered a 10.5--and it's huge. Will most definitely have to exchange but don't live near a store unfortunately :(.

BIG PEOPLE DESERVE GOOD BOOTS
I have worn Bean boots for 40 years and have liked them. I buy because they are American made, even when imports are cheaper. I was disappointed that I could not get the flannel lined in a 10.5 EE width. The boots that come in EE are not as comfortable.

Updated boot
I have owned several pair of bean boots through the past 40 years. From my experience, there have been two major changes/upgrades since the mid 1980s with the latest taking place within the past year. I’ve found the latest change includes upgraded fit(including half sizes) as well as a noticeable upgrade on the quality of the leather. These changes are a definite improvement and I highly recommend these boots.
