Warm and comfy;ORDER SIZE DOWN!
After reading the reviews, I ordered my regular size and one size smaller when these were the daily markdown and I wanted to give them a try. Have worn an 11 women’s most of my adult life, but true to the reviews, the 10 fits quite well and I’m returning the 11s. They are sure cozy and comfortable! Wore them to a brunch this morning during a subzero cold snap in Wyoming and probably had the only warm feet in the place. They also do well walking on sidewalks that haven’t been shoveled. I plan to wear them to church tomorrow where my feet are typically cold during winter! One big suggestion… Other than size… I wish they had a pull tab on the heel for easier slipping into them before I go outside. They are also suggested as slippers, but I have better L.L. Bean slippers for inside! They will be outside shoes for me, with corduroy slacks.

Nice, but the fit on these is very large
My wife wears size 8.5 tennis shoe and the size 8 slipper I gave her was way too big. Returned them for a size 7 and they are still too big. I'll just leave them for my daughter when she comes back home and see if she can wear them.

Purchased in size 7. Which is my size. Too big. Exchanged for a size 6. Still too big. Love the shoe. Very disappointed in the fit. Not true to size. Do not want to go through the trouble of exchanging them. I'm going to keep them, will wear them around the house. But, for future will not be buying shoes from LL Bean.
FYI LL Bean should work with Jones & Vining for their Last :-)
Will get a perfect fit each time.

Durable and comfortable
I bought these a week ago. I think they look attractive and are generally comfortable. The wool is a bit loose on the heel and I have to wear socks with them or they slip. I get cold so wearing socks isn't a problem. A size smaller would be too small so beware of this fact. Overall I am happy with them.
