Doesn’t stay water-resistant
I received a pair when they first became available. They soon began leaking at the toe crease—see photos. Otherwise they are great boots.

Dont fit
First gen boa boots were great. two sizes med and wide. this boot only comes in one width, too narrow for a wide foot and too wide for a medium foot. bought a pair, i have med wide foot. Way to large and wide for me. added insole and helped a little in forefoot but heel way to wide and just flops around. will be returning. really nice boot if you happen to have the exact size foot,

Isn’t the original
Is Not the Original version; fits too loose despite trying size 11, 11.5 and 12. I’m a 12 and settled on the 11 but wearing around house my foot ached .

Not the same as the original
I have 3 pairs of the original boot. They are the best ever. Light, comfortable. Bought a pair of the new ones as a back up. Horrible. I wore the once to break them in on an easy trail. Terrible blisters were the result. I returned them and hope my other pair will last a long time. Please bring back the original ones!!!

A great choice, will buy again.
Not cheap but you pay for what you get. Quality, durability, ease of use.Similar to my flyfishing wading boots with the same boa lace setup, easy on, easy off is a huge plus for these boots. Gone hiking on beaches, trails, and yes 1 foot of water. My feet stay dry and warm. Love these boots.

Unwearable
First let me state that I had the previous model of this boot and it was the best boot I ever owned. It was extremely lightweight, durable, and fit perfect. I was very disappointed when this boot was discontinued. After an absence of a couple of years I was excited to see that it was again available in an updated version. This looks like the same boot but it is not. It is an extremely poor fitting boot. There is little form to it that resembles a foot , it just feels sloppy all over. It ran very big and even down sizing to get the right length did not help. It was unwearable and had to be returned.
