These are terrible!
I had three different pairs of the first generation of these boots and they were the best fitting and comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. These new ones don’t fit well at all they are too wide and my feet are wide to begin with. They don’t get tight in the right places they get too tired at the top and your ankles are all loose and don’t feel protected. Every time I wear them, I get shin splints, and they make my feet hurt. For the money, these cost, they lack a lot. please go back to the original style as these are garbage and I will never buy another pair. I’ve been wearing L.L. Bean boots to hunt my entire life and I’m in my 50s. By far the worst pair of boots I’ve ever bought from L.L. Bean. Bring back the old boots! Nobody’s gonna buy this junk a second time

Want to love them as much as the first generation
Was so excited to see these back in the line up. I've had the first generation goretex ones for years and they fit like my favorite slippers, the only hangup is they are no longer waterproof. I'm so disappointed in the new version. First gen 11.5 wide, fits like a glove. new ones I tried both 11.5 Med width and 12 Mid width. Both of them are HUGE and clunky. I do not have small feet and there is so much room inside even with thicker hunting socks on that they just rattle around when word. Go back to the original recipe here fellas. These ones will be going back unfortunately.
