Soft and warm, but the fit was off.
When winter sets in up here in Wisconsin, we keep warm by layering tops, like sweaters and flannels over tees. I had gotten a lot of flannels for my husband from LLBean over the years, so I wanted to try them myself. This shirt was a bit large, but otherwise seemed to fit all right, so I took off the labels and laundered it. But when it came time to wear it for the first time, the fit was weird, sort of tight in the shoulders, yet boxy, and the sleeves were too short, even though I air dried it. I'm keeping it, but I'm disappointed. The men's flannels fit differently, but I'll find a use for it or eventually donate it. The blue plaid was nice, though.

Quality excellent !! Fabric soft and comfortable.
The flannel is light weight and is still warm and comfortable. The length is below the hip which I love .I washed it did not fade or shrink It is a great top.

On the Fence
I am on the fence about returning these shirts. First the good. I love the fabric, the weight and the lightness of the flannel. Recently the Bean women's flannel shirts seem to he heavy of the fuzziness. The plaids are also very pretty, and I love the rounded shirt tails. The not so good. There seems to be an excessive amount of fabric in the armpit area. This may be due to the darts (oh the dreaded darts...how I hate them!). And the collar, it lays funny giving it a Peter Pan collar appearance, not at all he way it looks on the model in website.

Lighter weight flannel
