Bean boots are best
Made by hand, in America, for over 100 years – that’s quality! I am a size 10 shoe, so I followed the advice of L.L. and purchased a size 9 – it is the correct thing to do. Wear thick socks and you are good to go ! This is actually my second pair. The first pair were going strong (for 30 years 🥰) … then they were stolen from the back of my truck 😬. So, needed a new pair. Without hesitation, I ordered the new pair! Extremely satisfied with this product. (When I marked ‘True to size’ below, I do mean buy them a size smaller than your shoe size.)

Hand-down 2nd life
These boots were worn heavily in the 80s and 90s then went dormant for 15 years or so until I picked them up for soggy ground use. Leakproof and enough sole to get by, may one day need repairs but 40 years of stories to tell. They feel great and fill a very specific use category. Well built and not disappointed.

Upgrade on a boot that was already great!
I’ve been wearing Bean Boots for over 40 years. My grandpa wore them, so did my dad, and I do too. I heard about a few improvements in the Bean Boots and it made me curious to buy a new pair. The leather is thick and soft, it feels like I have had these boots for years. The new insole makes the boot more comfortable and wearing them the whole day, it gives me the support much needed to be comfortable in them. The boot laces seem to be stronger as well. Congrats, you guys overdid yourselves!

The Only Footwear I Use For Work
I have worked on golf courses for the past 45 years in the area of maintenance and Bean Boots have been the only footwear I have worn. From wet dewy mornings to torrential downpours, I can count on my Bean Boots to keep my feet dry and comfortable.

Tight boots
I purchased these Bean boots for my husband and was told to go down in size. They are too tight and he has been trying to stretch . We no longer have receipt so we have to keep them. Be very careful in choosing your size

The medium width was too wide for me. You used to make a narrow width in the men’s 8”.
