STILL ICONIC...EXCEPT THE LACES
The boots are the standard for winter wear, but I had to remove a star because of the laces. The laces are thin like spaghetti and nothing like the heavier version that used to come with these boots. Do the iconic brand some justice and bring back the heavier cowhide laces. If it costs a couple bucks more...so be it. Don't skimp on quality.

Just what I hoped for
Just bought these boughts a few days ago and wore them in a downpour for the first time today. The're replacing Sperry boots. The Bean boots kept my feet perfectly drive, and are very comfortable! One thing worth noting, as the product notes say, order a full size smaller than usual. I always buy 9.5 in shoes, in fact I have the Bean sneaker boots in a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. For these boots, I ordered an 8.5 and I'm glad I did. There's a little extra room so if I want to wear a second pair of socks I can. Excellent purchase!

Recent changes?
I have worn bean boots only for work the last 7 years. They see it all and they last longer than any boot I’ve ever tried, even boots that were much more expensive. I usually get about 6-9 months out of a pair that I use for work which is great in my opinion. The last pair I bought I noticed some differences and now 2 months later they are trashed and need to be replaced. Heel is blown out on both shoes stitching on back loops came off after 1 month. I was about to try another boot, but I will give my trusty beans another chance.
