Nice Rain Jacket
I wanted a rain jacket with a light lining and this is perfect. The jacket has sleeves that could be a bit longer as well as the coat itself. If there was just an inch or two longer it would have gained 5 stars. I kept it for a month and kept trying it on before I decided the jacket would work for me.

Very pleased
Just the right amount of warmth for chilly days and excellent performance in wet conditions. Fabric is very supple and nice.

This very fitted rain jacket runs small
This very fitted ladies rain jacket runs small. I have other women's medium LL Bean shirts and jackets that fit well, but I returned this one because it was tight even without layering anything under it.

Inconvenient fit
Jacket too short and hood too big even when adjusted. I found it very uncomfortable.

Women's Mountain Classic Rain Jacke
I ordered a Large Reg. I am 5'3" 126 lbs. I usually wear a Medium, but in jackets I order a Large because of layering. The jacket blocks the wind and the rain. Pockets are nice. The flannel lining of the body (not arms) is good quality. This jacket is made very well.

Beware of Sleeves!
I read the reviews and hoped that the pulling upper sleeve issue was just an anomaly. It was not! I ordered the jacket in a large and extra large. Both had the sleeve issue. It's like the upper sleeves torque around/pull on your deltoid muscles (upper arm, outside). I am a petite, small shouldered, thin armed woman. I have little girl arms so it is not like the muscles were the issue. Something is wrong with the construction and ordering a larger size only resulted in a baggier fit. The coat is lovely otherwise-perfect in every way except construction. I sent both back and was sad about it. PS: The coat is heavier and has a beautiful lining but it is more appropriate for just a short walk or running errands, not anything recreational like hiking. I don't think I would haul this coat around on the trail, taking it on and off and carrying it on my pack. Nice for in town or sitting still or a walk with the dog.

Breathable, uncrunchy rain jacket
I Love this jacket. The fabric is quiet and breathable and the flannel lining makes it comfortable in temperatures in the 50s. I bought a size larger to accommodate fleece or a thick sweater, but the fit is not too big even without an extra layer. I’ve yet to try it in rainy weather, but I felt comfy in foggy, light drizzle. The zip + snap-flap pockets are also appreciated. This was a find *)
