Color me warm
This winter coat is very warm. I like the way the hood fits. When I zipped up the coat I thought it felt a bit snug.

Accurate "warmer" comfort level ranking
This jacket is in LLBean's "warmer" comfort level. They refer to that as "best fall to winter," which I find correct. I wore the jacket over t-shirt and heavy flannel shirt when temperatures were in the low to mid-50 degree Fahrenheit and was comfortable, but adding a strong wind makes for a questionable warmth, especially in the sleeves. I like the velcro straps at the wrist to snug them up against the wind.

I love it
This coat is so lightweight, but keeps you surpringly warm. It has a loose fit so you can wear sweaters under it if you choose.

I found THE coat!
Nicest coat I've ever owned. Love the feel of the fabric. Love the fit and the cut of the back of it. Love that it has snaps so if I want to get out the door quick, I'm not fussing with just a zipper. Wish it came in a petite but the velcro at end of sleeves helps solve the long sleeve problem.

Warmer, but not Warm Enough
I love this jacket, but it cannot be considered a winter jacket unless the temperature is no lower than 45. For anything colder, I wear a different jacket. I assume that is why the company labeled it warmer rather than warmest, but it is still too light a jacket for most winter temperatures.

Lovely fabric, style ok, warm, pretty color.
Nice but wouldn't have been a favorite if I kept it. Great fabric, warm, pretty color. Style just ok.

It feels nice and lightweight!
The jacket looks well-made and the fit is just fine. I have not had a chance to test the performance against the cold because I live in Florida and our cold season doesn’t come until January. I wanted a usable jacket in case the temperature dipped below 30 degrees or if, God forbid, I lost the power in my house in the colder season. The jacket is nicely made. I’m certain it will provide long service.
