Too heavy for me…the fleece upper body was too much/heavy for me . I liked the shell. But ultimately returned and got the 850 …time will tell.

Sad it’s not the same coat.
I have a black coat in this style that I’ve worn for maybe 10 years! I love it; it wears like iron, it’s warm and fits well. Sadly, after reading the reviews, 5 star through 1 star, I will not purchase this coat. The Velcro sleeves are a big factor, the description of the different fit seems fairly consistent and the chemical smell. Sorry L L Bean you seemed to have sold out like so many other companies have.

Good - but...
Good coat but the zipper is strange on it. I like the zipper on the right hand side and this is a left handed zipper. Coat is very warm and comfortable.

Not Warmer
I was expecting the coat to be warmer, as its name suggests, than it is. It looks like it would work in really cold weather, but it does not. Also, the zipper is difficult to work. It will probably serve as an extra for not-too-cold days, but not as a "Winter Warmer Coat".
