Our twist on a classic, with authentic cable designs from the Aran Islands. This cotton fisherman sweater vest is made from soft-draping cotton yarns that flatter and span the seasons more than traditional wool.
We chose 100% cotton yarns to give our cable sweater vest year-round appeal. It's lighter with an easier drape than traditional fisherman sweaters, offering supreme comfort and beautiful style.

Heavy and bulky
The first thing I noticed was how heavy this vest is. It's also bulky and not flattering -- and I seriously doubt it would help me stay warm on cold days. I returned the vest and will look for one made of wool instead.

Great quality vest
I hesitated a bit ordering this vest because of the price. When it went on sale, and I had bean bucks to spend, I could resist no longer. It is heavy-weight, and will be a nice alternative to a long-sleeve sweater when the New England cold sets in. I am looking forward to wearing it this Fall.

Fantastic Vest
This vest is a must have for pulling an outfit together. I wear it with different shirts underneath it. I have also worn it under my maxie denim dress the drape and weight are beautiful. I have it in navy and I think I will order it in beige soon. I love that it is cotton. It adds warmth, but is never too hot. Yes, it is pricey, but I am so happy with this purchase.
