Old chinos were so much better
These are way too stretchy and the fit is too big compared to the old style. After just a little wear I get a bad case of saggy backside. The old chinos actually had slightly more spandex but they fit well and kept their shape/structure so much better. Go back to the old ones! Until then I guess I will have to go searching elsewhere for good chinos, which is a shame because I’ve been buying ( and swearing by the quality of) LL Bean products for decades.

These are not the same pants. Beware.
I bought 2 pairs of these thinking they would be like the ones I have bought for several years. But, NO. These are completely redesigned with different fabric that wrinkles very easily. Also, the front pockets are not deep enough to hold my phone securely. I'm giving both pairs to Goodwill.

They're ok...but
5'6", 175 lbs. I bought the 16 and it fit, though the waist was tight. But if I went up a size to fit my waist comfortably, the hips and rise would be huge. The slash pockets wouldn't lay flat since the waist was tight, and I did not like the "peached" material. But they did fit OK.

Run at least one size too big
I bought two pairs of size 6. I own several different styles of pants and jeans from LL Bean, all size 6, and they fit great.
Not these. They are borderline to big upon zipping and buttoning but then stretch and grow one to two sizes bigger by the end of the day.
Hoped they would shrink and the problem would resolve but the pants remain too big.
