perfect commuter pants!
I typically bike or walk to work and these are great for both, and comfy and nice enough looking to wear all day to work in an office. They also work well for travel since they dry quickly. Haven't tested their durability for hiking since I'm wearing older pants for that, but they've resisted any rips or holes from bike commuting.
I have 2 pairs, one regular length, which is fine in summer, the other MT, which I prefer for winter.
Wish list for these: a cinch strap at the ankles (for biking), more colors (navy), a winter version (heavier fabric or fleece lining).

Better than jeans for travel
I love my (LL Bean) jeans but am discovering that they are not the best pants for traveling. I bought these to take on a trip. I even went up a size so I can layer, as needed. Great color, good fit. I look forward to their various features: breathability, water-resistance, sunscreen. Thank you, LLB, for making these!

A few unexpected extras
Decent fit. Lightweight fabric that dries quickly - exactly what I wanted. Seems to attract dust, but on the other hand it brushes off easily as well. Hadn't looked closely enough at the pics and so was surprised by the drawstring inside the waist (not a fan) and the snaps and tabs on the legs for rolling up and securing (also not a fan). Made my peace with the leg tabs when I discovered they could be tucked into some slots on the hem to prevent them flopping around inside the pants legs.

Great travel pants
I have two pairs of these pants I wear for hiking and also traveling. I like the generous pockets that also secure with snaps or zippers. I have a "pear" shape (5'6", 150) and these are not baggy on my waist. Fabric also stretches a bit.

Petite Pants are a bigger fit than same ones past
I was very disappointed in these pants. The fit for “petite” was not like all the similar pants I have purchased from Bean in the past. The length was definitely longer and the overall fit was not as good for me. I even tried putting them in the dryer but this was one time there was no shrinkage.
