Nice lightweight stylish jacket
I bought the full zip hooded jacket version of this jacket a couple years ago. I love it - get so much use out of it when I just need something light for those late spring/early fall days in upstate NY, so decided to get another one in this versatile blue color. The material is a little thinner than my previous one but I think it will still be a nice jacket when I just need a little something. It looks very nice. I waited until they had a sale because I thought it was a little pricey for being so lightweight

Versatile Extra Warmth Layer
I purchased this, initially, as a light layer to wear over merino wool tshirts on a recent African safari. The two garment items work together to provide a subtle warmth on days when layering was needed. I like it so well, I bought 3 more in different colors

Needs Some Changes
I have bought several of these jackets over the last few years and I have generally been very pleased with them. Based on my past experience, I decided to order a couple more in different colors. What a disappointment! First of all, the zipper on one split as soon as I tried to zip it up and I was left having to step out of the jacket to get it off. I couldn't even get the other jacket's zipper to work and didn't want to damage it trying. The zippers on these jacket are very flimsy and cheap, considering the price, and should be replaced with something of much better quality. My other gripe is with the fit. I'm a petite person and ordered the petite extra small, but the arms were so long that they covered my hands, and I don't have short arms. The body of the jacket also was not "slightly fitted" and looked too large and frumpy. If what I received was a petite xs, LL Bean should start offering a size xxs to correspond to true petite sizing. Finally, why does LL Bean keep sticking their loud logo right front and center in their clothing? I am a seamstress, so I can manage to carefully pick it off of the jacket, but placing the logo in such a prominent place is really pretty obnoxious and unnecessary. I hope LL Bean improves the quality and fit of this jacket because it is otherwise a good, versatile jacket. However, I'll wait until the quality improves before I buy another.
