Great multipurpose piece
Great multipurpose piece. Light, warm, comfortable. This is a great layer when it’s cold and a nice light jacket when it’s not so cold. I found the regular fit a little long. I bought the petite. I am 5’5”.

Designed for an orangutan.
This jacket runs huge. Though labeled a petite, the sleeves are so long that they completely cover my hands. I don't even know if sizing down would solve the sleeve length problem. There is some serious quality control issues going on here.

I’m a fan of this lightweight, well-fitting jacket
This is a wonderful lightweight jacket that is perfect for those days when you wonder if you need a sweater or another layer. Just put this on and it keeps you warm without adding weight. I also discovered that the Petite sizing is perfect for those of us who need a larger size but then find the sleeves are too long and the overall length is out of proportion. Get the Petite! Please, LL Bean, add more colors to Petite sizing!

My favorite fabric
I love this Air-light jacket. I bought it because I had the older version with a hood and it was always my go to choice for an additional light layer. I like that the sleeves slide on easily over most fabrics so it is handy for travel or anytime I want a little more warmth without the bulk. I would recommend this jacket for it's warmth and versatility. I'm 5'3" about 120 lbs and bought a PM which works perfect.
