Nothing better than an airlight
We have quite an investment in Bean airlight jackets, vests and tops. Both my husband and I have a number of them and continue to add to the collection. My latest, a blue zipper jacket is wonderful. The color is a true, attractive shade and the petite fits perfectly.
The fabric in this line is great for travel, dress up or casual. It’s warm when needed but lightweight and layers with no effort. Wash after was, the color remains the same. Unfortunately, like most things offered by Bean, the prices are becoming too high and will in turn limit more consumers.

Good looking and lightweight
This top is very lightweight and looks great. But isn't as warm as I had hoped. Not a problem though. I do have tops that are warmer.

Quality decrease
I bought the earlier version of this top a few years ago. This time,I was disappointed in the fabric ; it was thin and flimsy-it did not feel like I was wearing a quality product , so I was disappointed and returned it.

Nice overall, but thin and small pocket openings
The fabric is thinner and less insulatory than I assumed from the pictures, but it's still nice fabric and the "ribbed" texture is nice. However, the openings to the pockets are so small (and yes, I triple-checked that they're unzipped all the way) that they're useless to put anything into other than my hands, because I won't be able to pull my hands out while grasping anything (keys, phone).
