Perfect for autumn hiking
Just what we needed for our trip to Tasmania and Cradle Mountain. Lightweight for travel and warm enough for autumn hiking. Leather covering over fleece on palm and fingers was good against the antarctic wind.

Comfort & Dexterity
Excellent gloves that offer a higher degree of dexterity. Here along the Gulf Coast, the humidity makes it feel colder than just the air temperature. I walk my dogs 2 miles each day and these gloves make that walk in the cold weather more bearable. This was a great find!

Runs very small
These look and feel nice but they run incredibly small. I ordered a Men's Large (his usual size) for an average size man. His hands are not exceptionally wide nor are his fingers particularly long. Gloves are way too tight. In addition, the finger lengths are weird so you push too tight in the middle and have a big gap on the first and 4th fingers. I take a women’s medium and the width fits me. I read a number of reviews with the same issues. I think if anyone had actually tried these during the design process they would have discovered this. Very disappointing LLBean. For the most part we never minded paying a bit extra for high quality gear but now it is hit or miss. (Will donate the gloves.)

Good glove
Light weight and easy to fit in your coat pocket. Could be a little warmer but good for general activities (clearing snow off a car, walks, etc.)

XL True to Size, great investment
Good gloves, sized right. I wear an XL and lesser gloves from other vendors usually have fingers just a little short and the gauntlets are often a little too short too. These fit fine with the proper length (for me) and have been a good investment this winter.

Good for Mild Winter Weather, Not for Extreme Cold
These are very nice-looking, comfortable gloves for mild winter weather. I like them for driving and running errands. They are lined with a light-weight material that feels cold on contact in very cold weather. I was disappointed with this. I think my hands would probably stay warmer if they were right next to the fleece instead of up against the shiny, cold-feeling lining. I bought a similar pair from LL Bean last year (which I lost), but they were unlined fleece. The fleece felt cozy and warm next to my hands in temperatures below freezing. I am considering removing the thin lining on this new pair, because the lining makes my hands feel cold on contact. Otherwise, very nice-appearing gloves that are well-made. They are not bulky, and they grip the steering wheel well. Nice for driving. The women's sizes ran consistently small for me, so I ordered a men's size for a better fit (I have longer than average fingers). Yes, I would recommend the gloves for mild winter days and for winter driving. I would wear something warmer though if I were doing outdoor activities here in Minnesota during December through February.
