Product Details
The toughest all-weather boots in an easy-to-wear pull-on style. Built for complete comfort without sacrificing tough-as-nails durability.
- We recommend ordering a 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a size 9, order a 9.5.
Our Storm Chaser Boots perform the way high-tech all-weather boots should, only they're lighter and sleeker - with all the comfort of sneakers. The rugged rubber outsole is not only built for stability, but flexibility too; the cushioned EVA midsole ensures all-day ease - and both are built from the same materials as top-of-the-line walking and running shoes.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- 200-gram PrimaLoft® polyester insulation keeps feet warm.
- Covered polyurethane foam innersole with NXT for odor control.
- Lined with moisture-wicking synthetic mesh for breathable, fast-drying comfort.
- Stretchy goring easy on/off.
- Siped rubber outsole with multi-lugged tread for a strong grip on wet or icy surfaces.
- Waterproof leather upper with TEK2.5® waterproof membrane and rubber bottom keep feet dry.
- Soft padded nylon collar for added comfort.
- Molded EVA midsole provides exceptional cushion and support.
- SolarCore foam underfoot provides a warm barrier to keep feet insulated from cold, wet surfaces.
- Best for snow, slush, rain and colder weather.
- Not designed to stay submerged in water.

snug fitting boot tops
They are very difficult to pull on because of the narrow opening of the top. With only one loop to pull them on, they are too difficult.

Nice, but not for me.
High quality and good looking boot, but because of severe back flexibility restrictions, they were too difficult to get on. Had to send them back.

Great Product
Excellent product. Took to Quebec and Montreal in below zero conditions. Was never cold or wet. A little hard to put on at first. I am size 8.5 and ordered a 9. Great shoe for bad weather!

Impossible to get on
These boots were a Christmas gift. Ordered a 1/2 bigger. Also order a wide and they came as medium. I could not even get my heel down in them.

Comfortable but not warm...
These are the first pair of LL Bean boots I've bought for myself. I live in the midwest and today there is significant snow on the ground. The first thing I've noticed, is that the boots are very comfortable but after shoveling snow for a while. I can tell these are not meant to keep your feet warm. I will have to wear thicker socks for that as they do not come with insulated inserts. Other than that, they seem to be well made.

Chelsea Boot
He loved the boots but the elastic ripped the second time he tried them on. (On one boot.) Probably a fluke but frustrating.

Can't get them on
I bought these to replace an earlier version of the same boot which I wore to death. Unlike the earlier version, which were genuine slip-ons, these are impossible to get on. Will be returning them.

Great if you can get them on
Terrible boot and almost impossible to get on. I purchased these and an easier way to put on than my Storm Chaser lace up boots. Not a chance. Putting them on and taking them off is almost impossible. I love L.L Bean products, but someone in design should have tried these on before marketing them.
