Definitely size down!!
I love the boots, however I haven’t worn them yet. I ordered a full size down, and considered sending back to order another half size down. I tried on with a thicker sock, and that fit a little better. I’m not sure what I’m gonna do yet. For the price and quality, I wanna make sure they fit perfect.

Finally purchased a pair!
Have wanted a pair of “duck” boots since high school (over 30 years). Finally, bought myself a pair. Love them!
FYI if you can, try on a pair. They do run large. I usually, wear an 8.5 but the 7 fits perfectly.

Too Large
I was hopeful that these boots would fit me exactly. I'm am a half size and need a narrow shoe which is hard to find these days. However, these were too big and would slide around when I walked. This wouldn't be good for hiking.

My favorite boots
I love these things, I only wish I would have gotten the navy pair before they sold out. I love LL Bean, it is totally true when they say size a whole size down, I'm usually an 8,didn't believe their sizes, ordered a 7.5 and it was too big, 7 was perfect!
