Great Construction Quality, Miss on Design!
Very well made, but not straight. The legs flare much like bell bottoms. I am a biker and a runner and my claves are well developed so I did not want fitted legs, but this flare is a little more than I bargained for. When I walk the leg flare rub together and make a noise that is annoying.
I live in Florida so only wear them for a short period during our winter so I did keep them.

Awful fit for me
These jeans were really an awful fit for me! I had to check the tag to be sure the correct size was sent - they were that tight! And no way were they high rise - I couldn't even pull them up enough to zip as a low rise. I'm on the curvy side, so maybe it was the straight legs that did me in, but the description says "slightly fitted" not "fitted". For comparison, I've also tried the 207 vintage jeans high rise ("relaxed fit") in a 14, and those fit fine in hips/rear, but have a gaping waist, but maybe I'll have to reorder those and wear a belt.

I like the jeans. They remind me of the same weight of your original 1912 womens jeans you had years ago. I wish you had these in a midrise fit. I also wish you had them in a lighter blue denim. I ordered the 2. Being a higher waist they are a little tighter than I like but the 4 was way too big. Added that they do give a little once worn for a little while. Fit great in the hips, legs and length.

Best jeans I ever wore
My Bean Signature jeans arrived ten days ago, and they are quite simply the best I've had, including other LL Bean jeans. I'm 5'3" and weigh 113#, so the fit that works for me may not please every woman out there. Here's what I like/love, plus a couple of tips: I love the trim but not constricting fit from the waist down to the seat. No bagging there! I also love that I didn't need to take them up. The bottom hit just above my heel. Here's a caveat, though: If you're over 5'5", you may want to order a Tall. Second caveat/tip The quality of the denim, dyed with real indigo, is excellent; but the pants felt a tad stiff when I unpacked them. Although they were color-fast, I didn't want to risk tainting other garments. So after I tried them on to be sure I'd ordered the right size (a word to the wise, the 6 regular I wear in everything Bean was perfect), I washed them twice -- first by themselves, then with other dark clothes. They emerged from the dryer just enough softer and with the ridges on the seams a bit lighter. Perfect! The other problem I had was easy to fix: The button hole was too tight for the button. The stitching along the buttonhole extended about half an inch beyond the hole, so I took a pair of cuticle scissors and clipped about an eighth of an inch along that line. Again perfect! To LL Bean: How about offering these jeans in black?

Worst jeans I’ve ever had!
I bought these jeans over a year ago, and I should’ve sent them back immediately!! I ordered the correct size according to my measurements, however they were Horribly tight around my waist. The material was so still it was like wearing wooden pants! With wash after wash I expected them to become more pliable, No they were as stiff as when I first got them! They are Terribly uncomfortable!! Don’t buy them!
