Very dissapointed
These jeans do not hold their shape at all.
The fabric is a weird heavy and stiff material, they are not stylish at all, and they stretch out w/in an hour of wearing.

20 inch leg openings!
Nice heavy weight and would have been nice for walking outside in the cold or great for outside work but with 20 inch leg openings, cold air would go right up the legs! These are not straight leg pants!

I am dissatisfied with the quality of these jeans. Whatever happened to the 100% cotton denim jeans? The 100% cotton denim jeans were of better quality. They didn't include polyester, they were 100% COTTON denim jeans.
Please bring back these jeans!!

Favorite jeans
These are my favorite jeans. The fit is perfect. They hold their shape. They wash up nicely and continue to retain their shape. No curling hems. No saggy knees. As a petite size person it’s hard to find the right cut, fit, length, waist, rise, and quality denim fabric all in the same pair of pants. These LL Bean jeans have it all. I’ve purchased a few for myself, and now a pair for my petite daughter. LL Bean hits another home run for me with these jeans.

Not Women's Signature Original Jeans
Not Satisfied with the horrible quality: fabric poor quality & less than 14oz denim content consist of recycled cotton, polyester, elastane, different fit, back pockets too small, front scoop pockets too small, waistband too wide , construction poor. They will be returned & I will look for a new source of 14 oz denim jeans.

Supposed to be straight leg jeans, but at the bottom of the legs they flared out and were very wide.

Amended review
I have to amend my "These Will Work" review to say that no, these will not work. After wearing the jeans around the house (with tags still attached) I decided the waist sits too low for this 62-year old's comfort (even though they say "high rise"). So, the Signature jeans will be returned. Note to LL Bean: you have so many jean options now and all of the different descriptions and fabrics make jean shopping rather difficult. The pair I'm wearing at this moment are the old style - all denim, and say "original fit" on the label (item #272059). You still make the old-school denim men's jeans, but you've really changed things for the women.
