- PrimaLoft® fabric is smooth and abrasion-resistant on the outside.

Not best quality.
This light jacket is surprisingly warm. I took it on a trip with uncertain weather and it was up to the job. Unfortunately the stitching did not hold up. I’ve worn it only about 10 times, and the elastic sleeve edging has come loose from the fabric.

Just okay.
I have an older version of this hoodie model and initially was very excited to find it again. I'm a little disappointed with the quality. 1. The width of the sleeves near the wrist is super narrow and difficult to get on and off. So narrow in fact, that if you are wearing a long sleeve tee you have to pull very hard to get it off, which in turn damages the threads on the thumb hole. 2. The zipper pockets are only 5.5 inches long instead of 6.5 inches long which makes a big difference. 3. The hems in some places have been replaced with a lesser quality edging material. 4. The main zipper no longer has a wind-flap on the interior to help keep warm. Overall I am happy to pay extra for LL Bean products because of their quality but this did not meet my expectations and I've returned it. In my comparison photos the black is the old model and blue is the new. Both were size Medium regular.

Love this jacket. I wore it all winter.
Best base layer jacket. Had a similar men's jacket from another company. That jacket was thinner and had such narrow sleeves for being a men's XL jacket. This jacket is warm and very comfortable. I purchased this jacket in black and purchased another for when my daughter steals my original. I hope they make this jacket in dark blue with a blue zipper.

My new favorite hoodie
Great fit and versatility. I like the thumb holes too. Excellent quality piece. This is my second one and I wear it as a walking and workout layer or everyday grab and go light jacket. Well done L.L. Bean!

Disappointed…not like the original
I have been an LL Bean customer for decades; it is my goto brand for clothing and outdoor gear. Unfortunately, in recent years it seems no good thing stays the same. I LOVED this jacket in 2022 and now wish I’d gotten a second back then. The current version doesn’t fit the same, and the fabric attracts everything…lint, dog hair, even dirt and dust. I’m returning this one and hoping for a better version next time it’s redesigned.
