Great insulator, bought a second one
Like a warm hug on a cold day. It is not bulky but quite effective to fight off the winter chill, especially when outdoors for extended time like the Superbowl victory parade in Philly yesterday .

Be aware runs extremely small!
Great l/s wool base layer! Be careful about sizing. Order up at least one size! I didn't want a skin-tight fit, and I ordered XL. My normal size in a T-shirt would be a S/M. I love the cloud-like print. Recommend washing in cold water, line-dry.

Warm base layer
A thin base layer that kept me warm under my coat while shoveling. I am 5’ 2”, weight 140 and bust is 36”. I ordered a small and it fit snuggly. Not itchy at all. Have not washed it but will probably hand wash so as to prevent any shrinkage.

Did not quite meet expectations
After getting the short-sleeved cresta wool shirt, I wanted more of the same material. This one has the same great, lightweight merino fabric, but it is cut differently and I am not really thrilled with some of the design choices. I loved the raglan sleeves on the other tee, but this one has inset sleeves, which are just not as comfortable and movement-friendly. Another disadvantage in the one-piece sleeve is that the thumbhole set into the seam is in the wrong place. I can twist my thumb around to catch the thumbhole, but then when the hand returns to a neutral position, the sleeve is twisted around. If I keep the shirt, I will consider doing some surgery on the sleeves to correct the placement of the thumbhole. Finally, I am not confident that the fabric is going to be protective against sun. It is semitransparent to visible light; how could it block much UV? I think it's still a good base layer to have, and I got it on sale with some discounts on top. So I'll probably keep it, even though it didn't really meet my expectations.

No Itch!
I bought a medium and found it too tight. Large is perfect. I was concerned about itchiness, but this was not! I've tried many merino products; this is the first that doesn't itch. I can wear it by itself, too.

Cut small for my body type.
I ordered a small petite. I returned for a refund. I ordered two more tops that fit in a small petite. I keep seeing this top, undecided. I may order the petite medium to see how it fits. Suggestion, size up.
