Mediocre
I’m not overly impressed with these bibs. I am 6’8” 220#, purchased Large Tall. I bought them for my third season of snowboarding and have progressed rapidly. Trying to build the perfect kit to make riding much more at ease.
I was excited to have a pair of tall bibs with a zipper fly. Very hard to find.I wear impact shorts, so realized I have to do some awkward untuck/tuck maneuver every time I go to the bathroom. This is no fault of L.L. Bean, just a personal preference.
My main complaint with these is that the straps keep sliding off my shoulders. If you’re riding pretty hard, it’s just something that tends to annoy you and takes your focus off the slope slightly. The only option is to really tighten them down, but that gives you an uncomfortable wedgy. And they often loosen on their own after a couple of runs. To me this is a massive design flaw.
The new iPhone 17 does not fit in the front zipper pouch either unless you cram it at an angle. And I’m not sure what the belt loops are for, but they’re worthless. The side zipper doesn’t do anything either.
I will say the material feels quite durable and warm but not overly so. I do not wear any insulating layers underneath.
However I probably would have just kept my $40 Arctix bibs. These may be going back.

Great bib for tall skiers from
Tall fits a 6ft 5 in man great
Bought Mens large tall for 6.5 foot man 165 pounds. Tried another brand that offers tall but it was just a shell and had no padding. LL Bean bib has good pockets and room for ski boots. Only thing that could b better is a zip down the front. This will work great for skiing hard.

New updated design snow bibs
Bought these for my husband for winter this year as he’s lost a lot of weight so we needed a new pair. Very nice design and updated design on the snow pants with plenty of pockets. Nice thick straps to adjust the shoulder area. He loves them. We haven’t had a chance to use them yet as no snow here in Minnesota. But they seem very well-made and he’s quite happy with them.
