Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality That Will Last! I've worn these snow pants for two storms so far and expect to have them for the next 25 years. If I want to buy outdoor clothing that will last the test of time I buy LL Bean. I have two winter jackets, one I bought in 1990 and the other in 2016, both still in great condition, no broken zippers, no torn material. I'm not gentle on outdoor clothing and my first jacket has lasted 36 years. The snow pants are super warm, dry, and fit correctly. The cost was more than I wanted to spend but you get what you pay for and LL Bean is quality that will last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Bought these for a trip to northern Norway late last November. They were exactly what I needed. I faced temperatures from -18 - +20 Fahrenheit and never felt cold. Layered with mid weight base layer and then a standard pair of sweat pants on the bottom, a mid weight layer and fleece sweatshirt on top and then an 800 weight down jacket. I’ve since worn them at work in single digit temperatures with wind chills near -25 with no effect from the cold. Highly recommend these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value, very warm I purchased these pants during Michigan’s recent cold snap and tested them on a 8 day ski trip in Northern Michigan. They are: warmer and lighter than expected; water and wind “proof”. I was concerned about how well they would breathe but that does not seem to be an issue. My biggest issue is that the left shoulder strap likes to slide down. Overall, they are a very good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Snow/ski pants I go 6’ 5 210 to 220. Respectable dad belly. LT works great for me. A lot of the ski clothing out there is euro sizing which can be tricky for big guys. Normal American sizing on this. Quality seems fine for the price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps me nice and warm! I bought these pants so I would be more comfortable playing outside in the snow with my young sons. However, given the stretch of below-freezing weather, I have been wearing them whenever I go out! They keep me super warm, so much so that I am often sweating if I am walking briskly. I could probably wear just a light jacket over the top. They have lots of neat features such as exterior zipped pockets, hooks at the bottom to connect to your laces etc. I am 5-11 and 175 pounds. I bought these pants in medium. They are a little tight and restrictive (e.g. it is hard to bend down to pick something up off the floor), but in my experience being tight helps to keep you warm, so it depends on what you prefer. They have been an amzing purchase for me, I highly recommend them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit for big frame 6'5" In my experience, it is difficult find big and tall clothes that look good. Most are boxy and drapey. LL Bean delivered exactly what I needed. It fits great and its light in weight but durable. Great job and thank you for catering quality products to people 'outside the average.'

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mediocre I’m not overly impressed with these bibs. I am 6’8” 220#, purchased Large Tall. I bought them for my third season of snowboarding and have progressed rapidly. Trying to build the perfect kit to make riding much more at ease. I was excited to have a pair of tall bibs with a zipper fly. Very hard to find.I wear impact shorts, so realized I have to do some awkward untuck/tuck maneuver every time I go to the bathroom. This is no fault of L.L. Bean, just a personal preference. My main complaint with these is that the straps keep sliding off my shoulders. If you’re riding pretty hard, it’s just something that tends to annoy you and takes your focus off the slope slightly. The only option is to really tighten them down, but that gives you an uncomfortable wedgy. And they often loosen on their own after a couple of runs. To me this is a massive design flaw. The new iPhone 17 does not fit in the front zipper pouch either unless you cram it at an angle. And I’m not sure what the belt loops are for, but they’re worthless. The side zipper doesn’t do anything either. I will say the material feels quite durable and warm but not overly so. I do not wear any insulating layers underneath. However I probably would have just kept my $40 Arctix bibs. These may be going back.
