Great jacket for chilly days!
This is a very comfy jacket. Just because it is puffy does not mean it is stuffy! All that insulation breathes for you. Nice size pockets for phone or gloves. Can’t wait for the snow. Sizing works for me as I like a little length and got a regular even though I am 5’2”so petite. So a large regular works. Yes I am already wearing it in central NH.

Beautiful sporty jacket
I bought the petite in extra small, dark pine. The color is beautiful, it works well for my "true autumn" color palette. It is very warm and soft, I know it will definitely keep me warm through a frigid and windy Maryland winter. Yes, the shoulders are big, but I don't mind it. It's androgynous, sporty, looks intentional, and it is proportional to the rest of my frame and easy to layer things under. The only qualm I have is that when I pull my hands up the sleeves slide down my wrist a few inches, but when my arms hang normally they are just fine, even passing my wrists and onto my palms. I am glad I bought this coat, would recommend.

Very Cropped & Boxy
I purchased the green and it was a gorgeous color but the cost is too cropped and all my shirts stuck out from the bottom of it. It’s pretty boxy and didn’t flatter my shape. Would have kept it if it were a little longer.

You Will, In Fact, Look Like a Linebacker
With all due respect to the other reviewers, when I read that a lot of people felt like they looked like a linebacker in this jacket, I didn't take it seriously, because 1) where I live, you need puffer jackets for half the year, and you almost never look good in them, and that is just something you have to deal with to be warm, and 2) I'm kind of an LL Bean truther at this point.
Unfortunately, they're right, and after trying to make it work for about 3 months, I returned it. Not bad quality, and it was definitely warm, but I decided that I could find something equally warm that didn't add approximately six inches to my shoulders.
Shout-out to the other reviewers, and sorry I didn't trust you at first.

Exactly what I wanted!
The jacket fits well. It’s nice and warm. If I could change one thing, it would be about an inch longer. I wear it as an everyday jacket in the city.

Minimalist cropped parka
Purchased the Women's Popham Puffer jacket in dark pine. Waited too long to decide on the black and blue as first choices in petite small. My collection of cashmere and merino wool scarves patterns matches incredibly well with it so I couldn't be happier. The shade of green is a lot better than pictured. It's more of a rich hue in a medium to dark beautiful green. I like the all over color green zippers on pockets, front jacket zippers, zipper pulls, snaps, and LLBean logo on bottom of jacket. All of that matches the jacket color perfectly. LLBean petite sizing is spot on due to a more relaxed fit. I have short arms and length is perfect as well as the jacket length. My large cellphone can easily fit in a secured zippered outer pocket and wallet on the other side or pair of gloves. This is the exact design for a puffer cropped jacket I expected. Jacket is warm in the body, sleeves and hood to wear daily in comfort with room to easily wear a pullover or layers underneath. I'm 5'1" with slouching shoulders and jacket is fashionable and cute on. Shoulders don't look oversized or huge on my small frame. The padding is needed for warmth so I appreciate the style.
