This great-looking wool jac-shirt is lined with warm PrimaLoft insulation to go along with all the great benefits of wool. It's a great choice as an outer layer in cool weather or for wearing under a shell or jacket in cold weather.
- Lining & insulation: 100% polyester.
- Body: 85% wool, 15% nylon.
- Dry clean.
- Ultrasuede trim on cuffs and collar for comfort against skin.
- Cut full for layering in colder weather.
- Lined with 40-gram PrimaLoft Silver, ultrasonically quilted for stability and durability.
- Pocket buttons are reinforced for security.
- Two welted handwarmer pockets and two button-through chest pockets.
- Rugged brass zipper.

Great jacket with a couple of shortcoming
I just received this jacket and am pleased to have it. I ordered my usual size of 2X and found it has plenty of room to later with a thick fleece; the cut of the plus sizes is loose. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of an interior pocket and the lack of a corduroy or other soft collar lining.

I was excited to receieve this jacket, amd it did not disappoint! I really like it a lot, it fits beautifully, and I really like how the fit feels.
My only suggestions would be an interior pocket, and perhaps a slightly softer wool.

I love this jacket!
I love this jacket—it has become my go-to winter coat. It fits beautifully, which I really hadn’t expected because I usually wear a petite and the sizing was only “regular.” I did not size up, which I often do with coats, but ordered my regular size—and yes, it fits anyway! The cuffs can be turned up slightly, so the sleeves are’t too long. The zipper is a two-way zipper, so it always fits in the hips, even with bulky clothing underneath. It’s quite warm—I’ve worn it all winter in 0 degree F weather and not been cold. And the color is classic for this type of jacket. I really couldn’t be happier with it.

Warm stylish jacket…
Saw this jacket back in November 2024 and immediately it sold out in sizes small and medium . I checked the LL Bean web site a couple times a week to see if ant would come back in stock and WHOLA it was a medium went back in stock ! I immediately ordered. Jacket arrived yesterday and I love it !!!! I’m happy that I’m able to wear a sweater under the jacket and still am able to move in it :-)

Love this jacket!
Perfect weight, and ,warmth for my NH white mountains winter. I love the cut , flattering fit, but roomy enough to move ,and layer. You can dress it up or down.and goes with everything. The modem green is beautiful. I love this jacket!

Warm and cozy in Seattle
I really love this jacket. First of all it's a classic cut very simple but elegant in its simplicity. The color is great and the wool is why I bought it in the first place. I live in Seattle where we appreciate our woolens. The wool is really warm and the lining makes it warm enough for all but the very coldest days. Wool repels the rain so it is good for light rain. I bought a medium the sleeves are a bit long but even that works out because my hands stay warm if I forget gloves.
