Size is inconsistent
I tried this coat on at the yankee sportsman classic and it fit just how I wanted it…. The one i received is very tight like it’s a size smaller! For the price I’m very disappointed! I’m not one to send stuff back so I didn’t. Plus the next size up I tried on was too big.

Warm core, cold, loud and damp arms
I purchased this for hunting and hiking from Nov through spring. Wool is good quality as is the sherpa lining for your core.. and good buttons. The arms are horrible and I would never wear this jacket hunting. The plastic feeling arms are really loud. Also for aggressive winter hiking, there is absolutely no wicking layer for the arms. Your arms will get sweaty and than cold even wearing a long sleeve base layer.. there is nowhere for the moisture to escape. If you aren't going to be active and not going to hunt it is decent but absolutely not worth $200. I also have the wool guide pirmaloft parka and absolutely love it. Its an extra $120 and usually never on sale but we'll worth the $320 and should last you a lifetime..

90% happy
I like this shirt jacket, mostly. But when the reviewers say the sleeves are crackly and noisy, they are not wrong. That’s the only thing I dislike. Everything else is great; I bought the green and love the color. Love the sherpa fleece on the inside too.
