Go Bigger? Maybe not!
Lovely in every way except the waist area hit me a bit too high and just did not look right on me. I sent it back regretfully. For me, going bigger would not have worked since I had plenty of room in a medium. May work for others though.

Not up to LLBean standards for me
I did not like the feel of the sherpa fleece on this coat. It did not feel like other sherpa items I had purchased at LLBean.

love my cozy fleece coat
Wearing this coat is like wearing a warm cozy fleece blanket except it fits better. The coat is cute and stylish. I am overall pleased with this coat. I have been looking for a fleece coat to wear walking for the in-between colder temperatures, in-between down vest temps vs. down jacket temps, and this coat is perfect for that. I like the standup collar to keep my neck warm if windy. The snaps are fine (although my preference for a coat or vest is for both a two-way zipper and snaps). Both types of closures work though to allow opening the coat a bit when getting warm from the walk. The coat appears to be well made, and the size is what I would normally wear.

Clothing runs really small
Everything including the coat run extremely small. I normally wear a large so ai ordered a x-lg and the coat was a little tight. When ordering anything you have to go 2 sizes above

Coat has Narrow cut for arms.
I loved the color and look of this coat but the cut of the arms are narrow not leaving enough room for thicker sweaters underneath. The larger coat size was too bulky in the body. Ended up returning coat.

Runs Way Too Small
The coat runs extremely small. I am typically a L or XL. I ordered the XL, then the XXL. The XL was too tight all over the XXL the arms were so tight and too long. I would have had to wear no top under the coat. I returned both very disappointing.

Inconsistent Sizes
I have several jackets and coats from LLBean that I like but my biggest frustration is the inconsistency with their sizes. I ordered a medium, which I typically wear from LLBean, and this jacket was so small I could barely snap it shut. The sleeves were short and the hem around the waist was very unflattering. I think the only people this jacket would look good on would be very small, thin, and without hips.
