Scratchy straps
These sandals are so cute and I had high hopes for them. Unfortunately the strap material was very scratchy and uncomfortable. Regretfully I returned them.

Just what I was looking for
The sandals are exactly as pictured. I had been wearing Bass flip-flops for years but recently the between the toe part became very uncomfortable. Texas summers require sandals! The Maine Isle sandal sizing is spot on and after wearing a short time, were barefoot comfortable. I did break them in wearing socks until the straps softened a bit.

Great sandal
I was SHOCKED at these! Didn't think I'd like them b/c of the reviews. Now I'm getting ANOTHER pr as I write thiis, in pink b/c I LOVE them THAT much! I'll admit, it took some doing to play w/the straps to get them comfortable! And not get blisters. IF you can deal with that? Then they're a GREAT deal! They are FLAT and I thought they'd bother me b/c I have nerve damage in my feet. But NOT TRUE! They do seem to run a bit short so I'm glad I got my reg size. I like these Better than flipflops as they stay on your feet better. GREAT when driving! I'm GLAD I gave them a chance!
