Perfect for Beach Days
Perfect for beach days. We used this for the first time over the weekend and loved it. It was perfect for keeping the hot sun off and still letting the lake breeze in. Easy to put up - the attached sand bags work perfectly.

Don’t waste your time or money
The pole is too thing to try to get it deep enough t j. The sand not move all around. Even putting it as far as we could it moved around to much w any wind, the sand bags were so long, the tent looks like it’s not even open all the way. Really wanted to love this as much as the pop up shelter. But we tried it and returned it they need to go back to thr drawing board an try again. DO NOT Recommend would choose zero stars if possible.

No fun in the sun!
This umbrella does not perform well in the wind on a beach. It twists at the top and there is no way to lock it from twisting. The sand bags arms are too long. The entire umbrella was wonky and didn’t have structure.

Best on the beach , we have had several umbrellas , beach tents over the years ,

Well Made but Small
It’s a well designed and thoughtfully constructed awning. It’s lightweight, easy to carry and sturdier than it appears. However, it’s really small. Two sand chairs can fit comfortably but that’s about it. You really should read the instructions prior to assembly and bring a small shovel! We lashed the flap to an adjacent umbrella and extended our shade for two additional people. I like it but just wish it were larger.

I love LL bean - do not buy this
I love LL bean and will continue to shop LL bean. BUT do NOT buy this. I am a FL beach man. This product is not meant for high wind beach conditions. I love the idea of a light weight design and setup and really wanted this to work. But this just needed some more R&D on different beaches. Maybe a beach in ME it works but NOT FL beaches.
