High Hopes
I have been searching for jeans that FIT for years; I had hope for these. The thighs were just a little looser, the mid-rise waist SO much better than the high rise. But, while it fit in all those places, I couldn't get them zipped or buttoned; the ends weren't even close enough to wave to each other. I was very sad and returned them. I SO wish jeans manufacturers would talk with REAL women who will be wearing their jeans. Pockets that actually hold more than your fingertips would be a start as well material that didn't fit to your form and make you feel like you're suffocating. And, a waistband that actually fits. I purchased a size 10, my normal size.

Size up as snug in the waist
These jeans are nice but you may need to size up one. I normally wear a size 16 but the waist was too tight (not consistent with the rest of the fit) on a 16 so had to purchase a size 18..

Pricey but a great fit
I was loving the women’s Carthart low rise boot cut jean but they stopped making it. The replacement was too narrow in the calf and wasn’t a boot cut. These LL Bean jeans fit just like the old women’s Carthart jeans! Yay! Love them but not the price. Price is only why I didn’t give them 5 stars. I am 130 and 5’6” and got a size 10. Fit the same as the Carthart size 8.
