I have both colors of this jacket
I find it to be very well made and absolutely water proof. I live in wet state where it rains 7 months out of the year. I have no complaints with the quality of the garment. Hence I bought both colors. I do agree with other reviews about the logo. WAY TO BIG. When the customer buys a product from a company they should not be forced to become a walking billboard for them . Hey LL Bean are you listening? Have some class small logo with a quality product goes a long way. Let the garment speak for the company! I buy a lot of clothes from you guys and everything is vey well made. Don’t force your customers to be walking billboards. Do better.

GORE-TEX RAIN JACKET
The sizing wrong, too tight, zippers hard to operate, material is restrictive. Not worth even the sale price, there are much better rain jackets available for far less money.

Cortex pro jacket
Gore-Tex pro jacket this jacket is exceptionally well-made and very comfortable to have on over one of my sweaters it feels like the temperature could go to 50° below zero and I would still be warm. L.L. Bean is known for its quality clothing. I love it and give it a 10+ rating

large logo on the sleeve is a no go
I saw this jacket in an LL Bean retail store and really liked it. Weight and pockets were right, gore-tex is a plus - color was a little iffy but acceptable. However, the large logo on the sleeve is a no go for me.

Too stiff/ feels like plastic
I really wanted to love this jacket. The initial look was fantastic. The design is actually great with tremendous pocket placement. Nice to see it on sale as well. Unfortunately, when it came, I found the jacket itself to be quite stiff and the material really felt like plastic. I didn’t think it was going to soften up. To my great disappointment I decided to send it back. I actually never used it. It is really just too stiff and too much like plastic.
Very disappointed

I would buy it but...
...the large logo on the sleeve and colors are just not good. Black is too dark for backcountry endeavors; the emerald spruce is just wrong. How about light blue with black zippers? The number of pockets and their placement looks perfect; Gore-Tex Pro is great.

Kept me dry!
Had to hold off on my review for a while as I waited for a real rain event... I am convinced this coat is a winner! Stayed totally dry in a real gully washer!
