Good coat that needs more room in the shoulders
This looks and feels like a great coat. And the price was nice. I ordered 3XL Tall hoping for plenty of room to layer underneath. However, despite the Tall size the arms were not tailored for a good fit. The seam at the armpit was cut too close to the torso rendering the sleeve length too short. Arm movement is restricted - bringing arms up as if raising binoculars to eyes was limited and uncomfortable. If there was more room in the shoulders this would be a perfect coat.

New jacket!
It’s a nice jacket but often hard to get on. The sleeves of flannel shirts and the jacket sleeves fight when trying to put the jacket on. We even went up a size to help with the difficulty. That made things easier somewhat.

Was worth the $$.
I’ve had it for a month now, very happy with it. Perfect for typical winter days. If temps get close to zero, I’ll wear a fleece vest under it sometimes, depending on what I’m doing outside.

A marvelous coat!
I fell in love with this coat looking at the catalog pictures. I worried a bit as the reviews were mixed. I noted that many said the coat was "fitted" , meaning a bit tailored. Based on this, I ordered a size larger. I'm normally an XL so I got XXL. It was a wise choice. With a parka, you normally intend to wear something underneath, a vest or sweater. Ordering one size bigger than you usually wear leaves plenty of room underneath for other garments but it doesn't look baggy. It fits very well. I love the wool lining. I didn't find it scratchy. I especially like the wool lining in the hood. With the weather we've been having this winter, I got to try it out immediately. It didn't disappoint me at all. It would be nice if this were machine washable but this is a very small complaint. It doesn't detract from my 5 star rating.

Not as good as the original
It is inferior to the one I received about 40 years ago that I had to replace because it finally wore out, Still it is okay, and generally better than other alternatives.
