First and last time ordering from L.L.Bean
TL/DR: Poor quality and bad sizing for the cost of the product. First and last time customer.
I have recently lost 50+ pounds and am updating my wardrobe. I was excited to treat myself to some high quality, warm sweaters for the winter. I studied the sizing charts and decided to order a men's large so it would be a little roomier and have that cozy, I-borrowed-this-from-my-husband type look. When the sweaters arrived and I pulled them out of the sack and I could tell the sizing was off or they were a slim fit. Trying them on, they definitely fit like a snug medium. No big deal, I thought. I'll wash them and hang to dry, and they'll stretch out. Nope. They got even smaller and shorter, and the amount of lint that came off of these things...I've never seen anything like it in all my life. Like everything else in the washing machine was absolutely covered in lint to the extent that I had to rewash everything. So now I'm left with 2 sweaters that look like they came from Baby Gap 30 years ago due to shrinkage and shedding/pilling. I won't be wasting any more money here.
