These shorts do the trick of protecting sensitive areas! The material is very nice. Normally I am an S or PS with LLBean clothes, but I am glad I got "M". This pair fits well on the leg but a smidge tight at the waist (don't notice once I start riding... my exercise bike!). I would purchase again.

Good but legs ride up
The shorts have the perfect amount of padding. I have two criticisms: the elastic around the leg is very loose and rides up when cycling and they are super high waisted. Though the riding up of the legs is annoying , the shorts are okay for a 1-hour spin class, but I wouldn’t use them for a long outdoor ride.
