The battery compartment is tough to find and very tight to open. Also no instructions for turn off the blinking function.

Excellent light with options for brightness and beam width. After reading the other reviews about having a hard time finding how to open the battery compartment, I took a little extra time to observe where the hinge was located, and I could quickly figure it out. No problem here!

did not include operational directions, making installation of batteries almost impossible, since flashlights need batteries to operate this becomes a deal breaker
