Wasn't cute on me!
The sweater was of high quality. So, why only 2 stars, you ask? The style/fit was so very unattractive. It did absolutely nothing for my figure. So, back it went. My refund took forever to receive.

A True Heritage Classic L.L. Bean Product
When I received this sweater, I understood the reason why the pretty young woman in the online photo modeling it is wearing such a broad, sincere smile. It's a great sweater, even prettier than it appears online. It's a good weight for three-season wear, neither too heavy nor too light. The red and the navy are rich, dark shades that are emphasized by their juxtaposition to the natural beige color. The bird's-eye, plaid, and chain-link stitch patterns of the "patches" are classic L.L. Bean. I've noticed that, throughout L.L. Bean's Heritage line, the items tend to be sized more traditionally rather than "vanity"-sized, which works well for me. I'm 5' 2" tall, wear a size small, and this sweater hits me at low-hip rather than at high-hip, but it still looks right. Since the sleeves come down just a little below my wrists, I don't even need to turn up the cuffs. That's another "Heritage advantage" for us petite gals.
