Disappointing
I had high hopes for this sweater, my first clothing purchase from LL Bean, and I was pretty disappointed. Judging from the price ($50 for a kid’s sweatshirt) and LL Bean’s reputation for quality, I was surprised to find this sweatshirt was thin and made of mostly polyester (yuck!). The print on the front seemed like it wasn’t heat pressed and that it would crack and start flaking off after a few washes. I intended to give this to my 8 year old daughter for Christmas, as she wishes for snow every winter (we live in south Texas where so is very rare). I couldn’t bear to give her this sweater knowing that it would probably start pilling and cracking right away, so sadly I sent it back. I love the concept of the sweater; it was just poorly executed.
