Not my 1982 Puffer Best
I adored my 1982 green vest from LL Bean! It was the perfect shade of green; the outer layer was cloth and inside were tons of down feathers. Coincidentally, I had been reminiscing about my perfect vest when I saw LL Bean’s cover. I ordered it immediately!
Unfortunately, this was a poorly reinterpreted version of my beloved 1982 vest. The color green didn’t even match that of their catalog! The vest was flimsy at best. It had no warmth. The inner and outer fabrics were cheap. I returned the vest immediately.
I have been disappointed with the declining quality at Beans and can’t understand why you offer the same horrible colors each year for Womenswear. The men’s selection is better all around.
